SUBI

Your user-Id and password are the credentials you use to authenticate your identity to the SUBI website. It is absolutely essential that you, and only you, know your password and that your password cannot be stolen, misused or guessed. Before you choose a password, however, please review the policies below:
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and have at least one of the following characters: 1 uppercase character (e.g. 'A'); 1 lowercase character (e.g. 'a'); and 1 numeric digit (e.g. '9').
  • Passwords should never contain any information that might be inferred from your identity: Pet names, family names, birthdates, license plate numbers, telephone numbers etc.
  • Passwords are case-sensitive: The password "ABC" is not, for example, the same as "abc" or "Abc".
  • Ideally, you should memorize your password. This is not, of course, always possible and we understand that you may have to write it down - if so:
    1. Store it in a secure location (locked drawer, car, wallet or purse).
    2. Don't write down the exact password. You could, for example, flip the 1st and 4th letters or add 2 to any number(s).
  • Never store your password on a computer. If you are emailed a temporary password, delete the email after you have memorized your password.

  • Forgotten password: Your password is not stored on the SUBI website and cannot be recovered. If you have lost your password, a new password can be assigned and sent to your email address. You should change your password as soon as you can.
  • Invalid password: 1. Check that your User Name is correct. 2. Check that the 'CAPS Lock' indicator on your keyboard is off.
  • Lost or Stolen password: If you suspect that someone has stolen, discovered or otherwise compromised your password, you should immediately change your password.
